2. Purpose of the Blouberg Awards

The Blouberg Awards were established to recognize, celebrate, and uplift individuals, businesses, organizations, creatives, professionals, community builders, and leaders who positively contribute to the development and growth of the Blouberg community.

The awards primarily recognize:

  • Individuals and businesses operating within the Blouberg Local Municipality area.
  • Individuals originating from Molemole Local Municipality who operate businesses or provide services within Senwabarwana and the broader Blouberg community.

This inclusion exists because many members of the public associate such individuals and businesses with the Blouberg community due to their visibility, operations, and impact within the municipality.
